SNOCF is very proud to announce that one of our Trustees, Kirsten Munk, DNP, RN, NCSN has received the Journal of School Nursing’s (JOSN-SAGE) First Publication Award that recognizes the writing excellence of a first-time school nurse author.
Dr. Munk co-authored the manuscript titled “The Impact of Education and Implementation Tools on Pre-Service Teachers’ Attitudes about Classroom-based Mindfulness” with co-authors Drs. Ruth Rosenblum, Samantha Blackburn, & Eden Donahue. Dr. Donahue also serves on SNOCF’s Board of Directors, while Dr. Blackburn serves on SNOCF’s Advisory Board.
