SNOCF 2025-2026 Grant Applications
Grant applications will be available in May 2025. Up to $1,000 available to CSNO members for each funded grant project. Members of the grant committee can be available to mentor school nurses in formulating a grant proposal and during the funded grant period. Click here if you are interested in being contacted by one of our grant committee members.
In May, the School Nurses of California Foundation will announce the opening of our annual school nurse grant application period. The applications will be due to SNOCF’s grant committee by July 31st, so that the grant committee can evaluate and present to the Foundation’s Board of Directors prior to the start of the academic year. Each grant is then to be completed by the awardee over that academic year.
The Foundation offers up to three* potential $1000.00 grants available to CSNO members and their schools for a study or project related to one or more of the following focus areas of the Foundation: 1) enhance school nurse visibility; 2) promote school nurse achievements; 3) emphasize collaboration; and 4) support school nurse data collection.
Once the awardee, Foundation President and Grant Chair sign the Agreement, a check for the determined funds will be sent to the awardee or school district where the project/study will proceed. Throughout the grant period, the awardee will submit a mid-grant report (generally December) and a final outcomes report with accounting of all grant funds (generally June). In addition to the required reports, awardees are encouraged to submit to present their project/study at the CSNO Annual Conference or another nursing conference, and to write a summary of the outcomes to be included on the SNOCF website.
Members of the grant committee can be available to mentor school nurses in formulating a grant proposal, as well as lending support during the grant period.
